3 Reasons Why You Should Go to This Ramadan Buffet
It has been so long since I haven’t joined the Ramadan buffet, but I’m glad that I got to start this year with Geo Resort & Hotel because of these three reasons.
1. The Ambiance
The buffet area is located on level 1 at Geo Resort & Hotel Cabana Restaurant. When you get out of the lift, turn left and you will welcome by this vast open space hall with a swimming pool on the right side.
I like how spacey it is especially when covid-19 are still around, so we won’t bump into each other when we take food.
Apart from that, all the facilities you need are there, such as a toilet and a surau located on the other side.
I like the outside dining area, where you can get a glimpse of Genting Highlands at night and a cold breeze. For me, it’s a calming atmosphere.
2. All the Good Food
Citarasa Selera Geo features more than 80 nostalgic kampung style delights with flavour like Daging Masak Dendeng Berlado, Ayam Masak Madu Bijan, Ikan Masak Lemak Hijau, Kupang Goreng Asam Manis Stulang Laut and more.
There are also live cooking stations that you can indulge in, such as:
- Chef Melvin’s Claypot Tomyum
- Gerai Warisan Chef Zack Noodle Stall
- Chef Fabil Nasi Kandar
- Grilled Kambing Golek
- Roti Canai Terbang and Murtabak
Don’t forget to save room for dessert because there are tons of Kuih Muih like Tepung Pelita and DIY Cendol and ABC corner that you can enjoy.
My personal favourite would be the Roti Canai and Dendeng Berlado paired with lemang. Their patin also delicious! OMG, everything tastes good and flavourful. By the end of the buffet, I’m sure you will see empty plates here and there.
3. Worth the Money
If you make a reservation now until March 19, 2022, you can enjoy an early bird rate at RM98 nett per adult. Mindblown! For me, the excellent food and ambience make it worth it. For early bird detail price, refer below:

- RM49 nett per child (below 12 years). Child below 6 years eats for free
- RM63 nett for senior citizens (above 65 years)
Their normal price starts from March 20, 2022, onwards are stated as below:

- RM69 nett per child (below 12 years). Child below 6 years eats for free
- RM75 nett for senior citizens (above 65 years)
Geo Resort & Hotel also accept group booking. So, if you book now until May 1, 2022, with a minimum of 10 adults per booking, you can get 1 free spot. *RM138 nett per adult.
Conclusion
I have around four plates of good food, and that’s enough indication that you need to make a reservation at Citarasa Selera Geo Ramadan buffet.
Just an idea, if you like a sweet escape, I would recommend booking a stay at Geo Resort & Hotel. So, you won’t rush back home and have a good night’s sleep on their customised bed and pillow.
