Annyeong Kawan! Korea Tourism Organization (KTO) is proud to announce the appointment of South Korean actor Lee Jae Wook as its Honourary Ambassador of Korea Tourism Organization!
Lee Jae Wook made his acting debut in the science fiction thriller Memories of the Alhambra (2018-2019), and now, he is the male lead in the hit fantasy period drama Alchemy of Souls (2022) as Jang Uk.
The Annyeong Kawan with Lee Jae Wook meets and greet happened at PJPAC at 1 Utama E. It was filled will fans who purchased any Korea Travel Packages from any of KTO’s participating Tour Agency from 13 September to 11 December 2022. Also, the lucky winners who won the Special Event contest joined the fun at the theatre to catch a glimpse of the Korean heartthrob actor.

1. Skiing at Vivaldi Park Ski World
As a sports lover, Lee Jae Wook highly suggests visiting Korea during the winter season. There are many winter sports and food that you could try during the season. For him, it’s a fantastic time!
“I like different slopes, so sometimes I go to Vivaldi Park Ski World to ski, but the ski resorts can be further away or nearby. It depends.”
According to KTO, Vivaldi Park Ski World attracts ski lovers with one-day and nighttime skiing options. The resort also offers extensive accommodation facilities. The condos provide direct access to the ski slopes, making them more enjoyable for visitors.

2. Picnic and Cycling at Han River
Han River Park, located on the banks of Han River, actually contains 12 different parks, all part of Yeouido Hangang Park.
“Han River is a beautiful place, and there are many things you can do there. The view looks very different during the day, and the night, so you should go both day and night to experience the view,” said Lee Jae Wook.
He also mentioned that she often goes to the Han River to cycle. If you bump into him, please do not hesitate to say hi.
Another activity you should try is ordering delivery food while picnicking at the park. It would be best if you also tried eating Ramyeon from the nearby convenience store. That’s how you can enjoy Han River to the fullest!

3. Visit the Entertainment Playground, HiKR Ground
According to KTO, HiKR Ground is a tourism promotion centre that utilises K-pop experience and media art and is operated by Korea Tourism Organization’s Seoul Center. The name HiKR combines “Hi from Korea” and aims to provide a playground for global travellers.
Lee Jae Wook said: “It’s a new place where they shot music videos, and it’s an exciting place that you can explore while you’re in Seoul!.”
On the first floor of HiKR Ground, K-art is the central theme, and visitors can view artworks by famous Korean artists on the large HiKR Wall. On the third floor, at the HiKR Atrium, visitors can view unique art pieces throughout the centre.

Lee Jae Wook also suggests…
“The charm of Korea is the nature and the beautiful landscape. I want you to be able to experience those things as well. I would suggest the Gyeongbukgung Palace, Cheokdukgung Palace and others,” explained Lee Jae Wook.
He also gave some tips when travelling to Korea: “You should set your path when you’re travelling to Korea. If you’re into shopping malls, you can explore that, while if you’re into nature, you should explore the path. You should segregate your course and type of travelling. Then you can truly emerge and enjoy travelling in Korea. You can also join a K-friends membership, which I am already part of.”
