Benton (벤튼) Cosmetics is one of the K-Beauty brands that launched in 2011. The brand is inspired by ‘The Curious Case of Benjamin Button’ where Benton wishes to turn back the time of your skin with healthy cosmetics.

All of their products don’t contain harmful ingredients, where naturally derived ingredients and ECOCERT preservatives are used. So, even sensitive skin condition can use Benton!

Other interesting facts about Benton are they didn’t do mass production. Instead, they producing in small batches to give the customers freshly made products. Without further ado, let’s start with my honest review of Benton products!

Hello Benton skincare for two weeks!

Honest Cleansing Foam

The cleansing foam is made with palm-oil derived surfactants, Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS), Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES) Free, Petroleum Derived Sulfate and PEG Free.

Take note that it contains Rose fragrance and they added that due to the original odour of surfactants. They claim that it will moisturise your skin and won’t let your skin feel tighten.

Lili thoughts: At first, I experienced tightening on my skin and dryness. But, after few days, it gets better. Regarding the fragrance, for me it's not that strong. So, I'm okay with that!

Aloe BHA Skin Toner

The toner contains mild exfoliates ingredients and it’s also blackhead care! Only 0.5% of BHA is included which can be slightly acidic. But, it’s okay to use it daily!

They claim that it’s suitable for acne-prone skin, replenishes moisture, smooths skin texture and relieves dry and itchy skin. By the way, this toner is awarded as Soko Glam’s Best of K Beauty Awards in 2019!

Lili thoughts: It wasn't sting your skin at all! I also saw less blackhead on my nose area. This is definitely moisturising especially after I use the cleanser above on the first week.

Snail Bee High Content Essence

The essence combined the snail secretion filtrate and bee venom in 60ml bottle! It’s catered for sensitive, dry and itchy skin due to its hydrating function! The snail bee essence also helps to even the skin tone, and with a dull complexion.

Lili thoughts: Usually you can see that snail essence is really thick and sticky but not for Benton. It got a watery gel that absorbed really fast into the skin! One thing that I can say is it's definitely hydrate my skin and keep it plump.

Aloe Propolis Soothing Gel

This is definitely your go-to Aloe Vera gel because it contains aloe vera leaf water, leaf juice and also extracts! It’s free of volatile alcohol, PEGs, artificial fragrance and contain skin-friendly cooling ingredients. If you have dehydrated skin and just got back from the beach, this moisturiser will be your new best friend.

Lili thoughts: I really like this gel like moisturiser because my skin doesn't feel oily at all. It absorbed into the skin really fast and I could say that if I want to use Aloe Vera gel, I would definitely go for this because of the aloe vera amount contain in this one bottle.

Fermentation Eye Cream

The Benton eye cream came from the premium line that contains luxurious Galactomyces Ferment Filtra and Bifida Ferment Lysate. It’s a concentrated eye cream that catered for aging care on delicate eye areas. The eye cream also contains ceramides and sh-Oligopeptide-1, makes it slightly acidic.

The texture is really interesting, when you put on your finger it felt matte, but it’s absorbed smoothly when you tapped on the eye area.

Lili thoughts: To be honest, I didn't see the results yet. But I do feel that it's moisturise my eye area and I like the texture.

Snail Bee High Content Steam Cream

When I first saw this bottle, I get a bit confused because should I use this after steaming the face first, or not. But, it’s definitely not! So, basically, this cream is made with a steam method that again contains a potent combination of snail secretion filtrate and bee venom.

Lili thoughts: Herm, I have a love-relationship with this cream. For me it's really thick and kind of clogged my pores. That's before I knew that I shouldn't put a lot on my skin. Once I use just a little bit, it doesn't makes my skin looks that oily.
