Ramyun is a staple food across Asia and I love trying the new Halal Korean Instant Noodle brand in Malaysia—Jinjja Ramyun!

The company that made Jinjja Ramyun

Jinjja Ramyun is an instant noodle brand developed and carried by Korean Food Expert, KMT and manufactured by Jinmailang Food.

KMT has focused on introducing Korean Food Culture in Malaysia for 30 years.

Jinmailang Food has more than 10 certificates including Halal, ISO22000, HACCP and FDA.

So you don’t have to worry and ask about ‘Is Jinjja Ramyun Halal?’. Just grab those Jinjja Ramyun at any store or online because they legit have Halal certification!

About Jinjja Ramyun

Which Ramyun is Halal? Well, it’s Jinjja Ramyun!

Not just that, they have 3 flavours that you can choose from—Jinjja Ramyun Spicy Mushroom (Soup), Jinjja Ramyun Kimchi (Soup) and Jinjja Ramyun Spicy Chicken (Dry).

Lili Thoughts

I’ve tried a few Halal Ramyun brands before and I think Jinjja Ramyun has very chewy noodles compared to others.

Plus, it doesn’t get soggy too fast even when left to cool down before I slurp the soup. Trust me, the soup base for the Kimchi and Spicy Mushroom are very flavourful.

The Kimchi is more on the sweet side, while the Spicy Mushroom is savoury and spicy (a good one).

The Spicy Chicken, which is the stir-fried noodles tastes umami and less spicy compared to the other brands. You definitely won’t get a stomachache after eating Jinjja Ramyun.

I’ve tried all three flavours, and I like these two flavours—Spicy Mushroom (Soup) and Spicy Chicken (Dry).

What side dishes go well with Jinjja Ramyun?

This is my personal preference but it goes well with side dishes like Kong Jaban (Korean Sweet Black Beans), Myeolchi Bokkeum (Stir-Fried Anchovies), Kimchi and Gim (Seaweed).

I bought all the side dishes from K Plus Food Market, The Curve and all are so good to pair with the Halal Korean Instant Noodle.

Try to pair the Spicy Chicken with seaweed and Korean sweet black beans, you will get the taste of spicy, sweet and salty.

Another tip is to pour egg while cooking the soup-based Ramyeon and you will slurp away the soup in no time!
