Jeju is a beautiful island in South Korea with a lot to offer visitors.
From its stunning scenery to its delicious food, there is something for everyone in Jeju. But what about souvenirs?
Where can you find the cutest and most unique Jeju souvenirs to take home for your loved ones? Let’s find out more here!

5 Best Jeju Souvenirs to Bring Home From Jeju Island
In this blog post, before I share two of my favourite places to buy cute souvenirs in Jeju, we will cover a variety of souvenirs that you can give to your loved ones back home.
So whether you are looking for something traditional or more modern, we have you covered!

1. Green Tea
One of the most popular souvenirs to buy on Jeju Island is green tea.
The island has a long history of tea production, and the climate and soil are ideal for growing high-quality green tea leaves.
There are many different green tea products available on Jeju Island, including loose-leaf tea, tea bags, matcha powder, and green tea-flavoured snacks and desserts.
You can also find green tea products at many of the island’s souvenir shops and markets.
I would recommend you visit O’sulloc Tea Museum if you want to learn about the traditional tea culture in South Korea.

2. Dried Jeju Tangerine Chips
Dried Jeju tangerine chips are a great way to enjoy the taste of Jeju even after you have left the island.
It’s a bit risky to bring back the fresh fruit itself, because of the customs so this is a great alternative way to them (worry-free) to your hometown.
They are made from fresh tangerines that are grown on the island, and they are delicious and healthy snacks.
If you spot Only Jeju on the packaging, try the one that is covered in chocolate, a brand called MIELMI.

3. Jeju Honey
Jeju honey has a unique flavour that is a combination of the different flowers that the bees collect nectar.
If you are looking for a delicious and healthy souvenir to bring back from Jeju Island, Jeju honey is a great option.
It’s typically sold in small jars, bottles or sticks. It is a relatively inexpensive souvenir, and it makes a great gift for friends and family.
Look for a brand like Jeju Natural Food (제주자연식품) under Lotte or Yeondam Jeju that sells 꿀먹은 한라산.

4. Jeju Chocolate
Dame Cocoa mentioned that Jeju Chocolate became famous because of the Jeju Chocolate Museum.
I’m not sure how far the fact goes but if you’re in for a sweet treat, you can pay a visit to the museum.
Jeju Island is home to a variety of fruits, including tangerines, strawberries, and lemons.
These fruits are used to make chocolate with a unique flavour that is a combination of the fruit and the chocolate.
If you’re up for eccentric flavours, pay a visit to Dongmun market to try the ginseng or cactus chocolate flavour.
For my Muslim friends out there, look for a brand called JeKiss because they have Halal Certification from Warees Halal.
I also spot JeKiss Jeju chocolate on Shopee Malaysia so you can try it first before bulk purchase from Jeju!

5. Dol Hareubang Statues
Dol Hareubang (돌하르방), also known as “stone grandfathers”, are a type of stone statue found on Jeju Island, South Korea.
The statues are thought to be guardian figures, and they are often found near entrances to villages or homes.
They are available in a variety of sizes and materials, including stone, wood, and ceramic.
But if you’re not a fan of statues, you can spot the Dol Hareubang design on keychains or fridge magnets in cute character designs at two souvenir shops that I will mention after this!

Where Can Visitors Buy Their Souvenirs in Jeju Island?
You might find all the five items that I mentioned above at Seogwipo Olle Market, Jeju Five-Day Folk Market or even Dongmun Market.
But if you’re more towards cutesy and artsy souvenirs with more modern designs, you need to check out two shops that I get to visit before—Odalcom Hamdeok (오달콤제주 함덕점) and Jeju E Pongdang (제주애퐁당).

Odalcom Hamdeok (오달콤제주 함덕점)
One of the things I love about Korea is their illustrator’s creativity to build cute characters for their merchandise. Odalcom is one of the Jeju souvenir shops that support local artists and sell cute pieces.
You will feel happy the moment you step foot into the store because of all the cute goods like postcards, soju cups and also the tangerine hat we wore below.

Jeju E Pongdang (제주애퐁당).
Jeju E Pongdang is a Jeju souvenir shop where you can find a wide range of items from handmade, Jeju sea candles, Jeju scented handmade soaps, plaster air fresheners, haenyeo (female diver) and dol-hareubang dolls.
It’s a strategic place to shop because it’s near Seongsan Ilchubong! Since it’s on the second floor, walk up the stairs up and you can enjoy all the cute stuff available at Jeju E Pongdang.

Special Mentioned: Cocori Jeju (Jeju Island Airport Toilet Hand Wash)
There are so many Jeju Island products that I mentioned in this blog post, but one thing that I still remember is the tangerine scent that I bring back home.
If you have been to the Jeju airport toilet and washed your hand, the lingering smell of tangerine should capture your nose. Might also persuade you to at least purchase one bottle to bring back home as a souvenir.
I was tempted to purchase a few bottles, but I didn’t know where to get them until I’ve done research back home. I’ve listed some of the shops below based on this Cocori Jeju Instagram post:
- JDC Dutyfree Airport (JDC면세점 공항점)
- D&DEPARTMENT JEJU by ARARIO (디앤디파트먼트)
- Eco Lab Think Jeju (제주용기)
- Cocori Pipe and Bistro (코코리파이프)
- The Blue Factory (파란공장)
- bu;work (부워크)
- Benjilvat Cafe (벨진밧)
- Sagye Life (사계생활)
- Hello Seongsan (안녕성산)
- Jeju Bonus (제주별책부록)

Lili Thoughts
Jeju Island is charming in a variety of ways including Jeju souvenirs. There are many souvenirs available to purchase as a reminder of your trip and I’m glad to do so from the two souvenirs shop that I went to.
No matter what you choose, a souvenir from Jeju Island is a great way to remember your trip and share your love of the island with others.
