Ready to Cook Grocer (R2C) was established in 2009 with the first outlet in Bangi. Due to increasing demand from other localities around Selangor and Kuala Lumpur, they decided to open a second outlet in Denai Alam, Selangor.

The Ready to Cook Denai Alam opened to the residents in July 2021. It was owned by a couple that ensures that only suppliers with proper halal certification and food handling systems make it to their shelves. R2C goal is to make it easy for our customers to cook, and they make sure the products they sell are guaranteed fresh.

Opening Hours

R2C uniqueness in selling ready-to-cook meals from vegetables, complete protein dishes to frozen chicken, freshly made using Ladangku—something you can’t miss!

In general, it’s open daily, from 9.00 am until 9.00 pm. But, for this month and February 2022, there’s an event that you can enjoy while doing groceries shopping.

Halal Frozen Food Fest by Ready To Cook Grocer Denai Alam

Halal Frozen Food Fest runs every Saturday in January until February 2022. From 11.00 am until 1.00 pm, once you open the R2C entrance door, the smell will make you feel hungry.

I went to their first-week event, and they do cooking demonstrations and serve a variety of food testers of their in-house frozen chicken brand. It comes in four flavours: ayam Korea, ayam pandan, chicken bites original and spicy flavour.

The ayam pandan is the most famous out of all. Since beforehand, the R2C grocer sells it as a ready-to-cook meal. Then, they expand the frozen food market, and that’s how they have the four flavours now. 

But then every week, the vendor will change, and I heard from the manager, Azira Yusran, that it will be keropok lekor vendor this week! Psst, if you’re a fan of Mohd Shafiq Bin Zulkarnain (@shafiqcute_official), it’s time for you to say to him on January 15, 2022. 

Aside from food, there is also a colouring contest for kids. This contest is open to two levels: five to six years old (Level 1) and seven to nine years old (Level 2). 

R2C won’t provide any colouring tools during the contest period, so the participant’s creativity is 100% up to them! Then, you must submit the colouring paper at their kindergarten or special box in Ready to Cook Grocer, Denai Alam.

The winners from each level will receive:

2. RM100 + Hamper sponsored by Ready to Cook Grocer, Denai Alam.
3. RM50 + Hamper sponsored by Ready to Cook Grocer, Denai Alam.
